I had hired Kenowski painting to paint my small condo. I was having my kitchen, remodeled at the same time with removal of the soffit which would require plastering, and they would have to come back to do the kitchen because the rest of the condo was finished. That painting was acceptable. The night before they were supposed to come in and do the ceiling the plaster came and did his job on the ceiling. I didn’t look at it, and when the painter came the next day, he should’ve known by looking at it that putting on the sand texture and two coats of paint we’re not even going to begin to cover it. He knew it would have to be scrapped and when I saw it the next morning, I called Joseph the general manager and said what a mess it was, he came over and agreed! He called Mark Fasel who was my general contractor for the kitchen remodel? He said he would take care of it, called in his plaster who came did a beautiful job for no charge and Mark himself out of his own pocket paid for the painting. Up until this last kitchen episode I had found Joe to be amiable, considerate and kind. So I am asked to be paying $400 for something I didn’t get from them. So what was done knowing that it was not gonna be acceptable was done just for money. I said I wasn’t gonna pay the 400 and Joseph and his boss then threatened to turn me over to collections. I’m an old woman and I’ve paid my bills my entire life and I have an excellent Credit rating. I didn’t want that so I’m paying them $400 that I have nothing to show for from them that they do not deserve and Joseph’s decision and his boss about the kitchen was not right or fair!

We recently hired Kenowski to paint our main living areas: the living room, dining room, kitchen, and two connecting hallways. From start to finish, the experience was fantastic.

During his visit, he carefully reviewed the space, discussed paint finishes, and outlined the timeline. When the painting began, Joe personally arrived with the crew on the first morning to ensure everyone was on the same page about the project details, including paint colors, finishes, and accent walls. He also made sure the crew understood my specific concerns—especially around the trim work for our stone fireplace wall, which required extra care.
Our crew—Ernie, Brian, and Pierre—did an outstanding job! They were professional, focused, and ready to work the moment they arrived. Their attention to detail and precision were impeccable, from the clean lines on accent walls to the careful trim work around the stone fireplace. Not only was their painting top-notch, but they were also courteous, respectful, and kept the process completely stress-free.
They went above and beyond by labeling and leaving extra paint for future touch-ups, ensuring it was clearly marked by finish and area. Plus, they thoroughly cleaned up after themselves, leaving our space spotless.

Kenowski Painting Services Oshkosh did an absolutely bang up job with a paint refresh for our 4-season sunroom. Estimate was competitive and accurate. Scheduling went off without a hitch; work done quickly. A lot of trim work that turned out knife-edge sharp. The crew was terrific. Joe K runs a great residential service. Absolutely recommend them.

Jason was easy to work with from the start, provided a clear estimate, and got back to me quickly on questions ranging from house prep to color choices. Brian and Pierre both did a very good job painting. They explained everything they were going to do etc first. They moved the stove refrig painted behind ,moved all furniture and took down the drapes in living room , just did a very good job. I'll have them back for sure for other painting. Thank you Joe.
